Paul J. Behrman, Managing Partner: Prior to founding Evolution Capital, Mr. Behrman was Partner at Celerity Partners, a Los Angeles based private equity firm with approximately $200 million under management. Celerity Partners focuses on growth equity investments and leveraged buyouts. Prior to joining Celerity Partners, Mr. Behrman was a Principal and Partner at IMG/Chase Capital Partners, a New York based private equity firm with $165 million under management (currently Falconhead Capital). Mr. Behrman’s background includes work at McCown De Leeuw & Co., a private equity firm with $1 billion under management; The Beacon Group, a private equity and investment banking boutique founded by Geoff Boisi the former co-head of Goldman Sachs & Co. (now part of JP Morgan Chase); and McKinsey & Company.

Mr. Behrman’s private equity experience covers a wide range of industries and types of investments. Mr. Behrman has overseen the management of the following companies at the board level: The New Release, Inc.; O Premium Waters, LLC; Goldhil Home Media International, Inc.; Project Leadership Associates Inc.; Imperial Technology; The Golf Warehouse, LLC; Skip Barber Racing School, Inc.; and Quality Tubing, Inc.

Mr. Behrman attended the University of Texas at Austin and received an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1994.
